Monster High OOAK custom repaint Robecca Steam doll by artist Vanessa Monique

I have re-imagined this Robecca Steam doll as a sexy Steampunk cyborg.  I have pulled out all the stops with this creation and she is my favorite custom doll so far.  If you look closely at the images, you will see all the little details that I worked into this doll. I created all of her clothing and accessories myself, including the stand and background display piece.
This totally unique custom set includes everything you see in the pictures:
-
a custom repaint doll with custom clothes and boots
-  a Steampunk gun with holster
-  a stand with gears that rotate
-  a studded base for the stand
-  a display backdrop with gears that rotate
I created the doll's makeup with water color pencils, pastel chalk, and acrylic paints.  I painted her eyes white with a blue outline to make her look more like a machine and to match the blue in her hair.  I added glossy varnish to her eyes and lips and gave her false eye lashes. I painted the gears on her calves with gold paint and shaded her entire body with pastel chalk and sealed the doll with Mr. Super clear.
I made her top from moldable plastic, then painted it to look like distressed metal and added gears.  The top is removable.  She also has a power pack on her back with hoses that act like shoulder straps.  This is also removable if you wish.  Next, I made her a gold glitter skirt and a belt / gun holster.  To complete her outfit, I hand painted her boots with a combination of gold and copper.  Her right forearm and hand have been painted to look like distressed metal.  Her left arm is robotic; it has tiny machinery parts and the elbow gear rotates.  She also has a large gear on her head piece that rotates.
Finally, I
made a Steampunk gun that fits nicely into the holster that is made from clear plastic to give it a futuristic look.
